The 2016 global dataset on human transformation of land systems provides cumulative measurements of global land human transformation at a resolution of 1 kilometer. This is a continuous 0-1 indicator that reflects the proportion of landscape modifications, based on modeling the physical range of 2016 individuals as stressors and their estimated impacts using a spatially explicit global dataset with a median of 13 years.
